All photography and scanning is undertaken using professional digital imaging equipment.

Specialised techniques

  • Clinical, operative, post-mortem.

  • Gross specimens, culture plates, gels.

  • Bulk 35mm slide scanning

  • X-Ray digitising

  • Photomacrography (x1 to x25)

  • Photomicrography (x25 to x1200): bright / dark field; phase contrast; polarising.

  • Infra-red, ultraviolet, and other specialised techniques.

  • Equipment and procedures.

  • Public relations, portraits, groups.

Clinical photography and other specialised services must be booked in advance. For patient photography it is essential to complete a Medical Illustration Request form (or Universal Consultation) prior to a patient being photographed.

Turnaround time is approximately seven working days.
