Greetings and welcome to MIU on the Web. This site is primarily intended as a practical resource and service guide for local users,
but those in the wider medical and scientific community may find some of our material useful.

MIU's role is to maintain and improve the quality of visual communication in medicine, nursing, teaching, patient care and publicity within our parent Institutions - the UNSW Faculty of Medicine and its Teaching Hospitals.

Our expertise is in medical art, graphics, photography and digital imaging. Clinical photography, bulk slide scanning, scientific poster printing, anatomical diagrams and publication design, these are just some examples of our day-to-day work.

We are here to help and we're keen on quality and service. If you can't find what you want on our web site, just phone us and if we cannot help you directly, we'll try to put you in touch with someone who can.
